Both born in Tucumán (Argentina) they have lived in Buenos Aires since 1989 and have been dancing tango together since 1999. They have studied with some of the most famous tango masters, such as Esther and Mingo Pugliese, Giselle Anne and Gustavo Naveira, Natalia Games and Gabriel Angió, Carolina Bonaventura and Demián Garcia and others. They reached the final of the World Championship of Tango de Salón in 2004 and 2010 and the final of the Metropolitano Championship of Tango de Salón in 2007. They won first place in the senior category of the Campeonato de Tango of Buenos Aires in 2011 and reached the final of the Salon category of the Campeonato Mundial de Tango 2011. They have toured Europe and the States on many occasions and have also performed at some of the most prestigious milongas of Buenos Aires.

Enrique began his career as a tango dancers 15 years ago and met Marion during one of his European tour. Their encounter in 2006 generated a tango of energy, emotions & elegance, combining elements of milonguero & nuevo tango. Their unique style epitomises the evolution of tango throughout the 20th century. The couple made their debut very rapidly in the international tango circuit and, since 2007, have worked with the worlds top Maestros & orchestras in the most prestigious international festivals around Europe. They are widely recognised for their excellent teaching methods and their friendly and precise approach to teaching. In their classes, they focus on the connection of partners & encourage them to achieve strengthless postures, body awareness, technique and an understanding of the dynamics of moves.

Ariel is a Maestro, DJ and festival organizer from Buenos Aires. From his tango beginnings he was lucky enough to learn with the best tango Maestros and discover rapidly all tango styles, work with famous milongueros and great Maestros. His tango is very personal, happy, energetic and based on improvisation and musicality. Ariel is the director of the biggest tango festival in Europe, Mallorca Tango Festival and since 2010 he is the director of Vaytango School in Mallorca where he lives. Ariel will teach and perform with Emma Healy for the first time at our festival. Emma started dancing tango in Cork at a young age and is undoubtedly one of the most complete dancer of the new generation of tango dancers formed in Ireland. Emma has the ability to adapt to all leaders, has excellent background in both traditional and nuevo techniques and transmits with great passion her solid tango experience in her classes.

Lia and John both started to dance tango in 2005 although they did not meet until 2010. They learned their tango skills mainly from extended trips to Buenos Aires, taking classes in all styles. They enjoy blending traditional and modern movements. In their teaching they focus on elements of each style with important technique for keeping one's balance and connecting to one's partner, as well as the interpretation of the music and most importantly the enjoyment of the embrace. While Lia is from London, John is originally from Dublin but since 2008 has been teaching and DJing abroad, working with various partners throughout Europe and as far as Moscow and Hong Kong. He also organises several big tango events in Berlin such as the Berlin Festivalito.

Hernan graduated in dramatic arts and dance in his natal Buenos Aires in 2000 and has since worked as a dancer, actor, producer and theatre director in Argentina and Europe. Simona has a background in balled and modern dance and has trained in the Laban technique of movements. Together they have been teaching Tango in Dublin since 2004, after training with some of the most renowned tango maestros around the world (including  Pablo Veron, Fabian Salas and Tete).  Their style is fluid, and focuses on connection and music. They are also the directors of the International Tango Festival in Ireland, a showcase of the best tango dance and music that attracts hundreds of aficionados from Ireland and abroad.

John has been dancing tango for the past ten years .He first studied under Gustavo Porter, Claudio Omar and El Chino and later with Nestor Castillo when Ireland was lucky enough to have him as a permament teacher. John teaches traditional salon style tango and has been doing so for the past seven years in Dublin. John endeavours to facilitate new dancers to find the passion within tango and become absorbed by the music & dance. This year, John will be assisted by experienced Dublin dancer Judith Harvey.

Jazmin trained at the Dance School of San Martin Theatre in her hometown Buenos Aires. As part of her background she develops a language of dance based on sensorial skills rather than pure technicality, using techniques such as Yoga, Feldenkrais, F.M. Alexander.She learnt tango in Buenos Aires with teachers like Fernando & Vilma, Pablo Inza, Angel Coria and recently worked with Ricardo Maceiras “El Pibe Sarandi”, and Raul Masciocchi. In Ireland since 2005, she has been teaching tango and contemporary and created CheTango with her tango partner Pablo Rodriguez who currently runs a two successful milongas in London. Alexandre was born in Switzerland where he started dancing at an early age. He took part in the creation of many pieces with different choreographers and companies, and danced in many countries around the world. His dance is based on sensorial play: he is interested in finding situations where rational understanding and sensitive practise meet in the same space, questioning the relationships between nature and culture. Since 2008, Alexandre and Jazmin direct together the Artistic Dance Residency in Tipperary and they founded Iseli-Chiodi Dance Company in 2009.

Monina is a tango dancer, actress and teacher. She studied contemporary dance in the Theatre San Martin from 17 years of age and acted in Conservatory of Art in Buenos Aires.  Her tango career began under maestros Carlos Rivarola and Maria Rivarola, Mingo Pugliese and Esther Pugliese.  She further studied tango with Ricardo Barrios, Carlos & Rosa Perez and Eduardo Pareja. In 2002 Monina opened the first Tango School in Ireland.  Based in Dublin, TangoIreland  delivers ativities including weekly Milongas, courses and workshops in tango technique. Monina has also taught workshops in Buenos Aires, Spain, Italy and organised a tango congress in Ireland.
